About YTT

Yellowstone-Teton Territory (YTT) is a private not-for-profit tourism organization whose membership spans over 7,500 square miles in six Eastern Idaho counties: Bonneville, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, and Teton. Our goals are to promote and market Eastern Idaho nationally and globally to future visitors, and to promote all types of recreational activities, events, and festivals in our region and the state of Idaho.

IDAHO TOURISM GRANTS

Idaho tourism projects are funded by a 2% tax paid by travelers and collected by the state’s hotel, motel, vacation rental, and private campground owners. 45% of the funds collected are used for statewide programs targeted at domestic and international travelers, tour operators, travel agents, travel journalists, and content creators. Another 45% is distributed back to communities through the grant program. The remaining 10% is used for the administration of the Tourism office. You can learn more about the grant here.

YTT TOURISM GRANTS

The Yellowstone Teton Territory (YTT) is the sole grant recipient for Eastern Idaho and works with several tourism related businesses, organizations, attractions, and event coordinators to utilize these funds to increase the tourism industry in our region.

If you would like to receive funding for a special event, marketing, or other projects that promote tourism to one of the six counties in Eastern Idaho, which include Bonneville, Teton, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, and Clark, please follow the instructions under the YTT Tourism Grant Applications. You can also find more information about the types of projects that are funded in the ITC Handbook.

Applications must be received on or before Feb 1, 2023. Qualifying applications will be reviewed by the Yellowstone Teton Territory Board. Applicants may be asked to attend a presentation meeting prior to a funding request decision being made. Organizations seeking funds will be notified in writing within 30 days of the board’s final decision regarding the funding request.
