The Teton Regional Economic Coalition (TREC) recruits new companies and supports startups and existing businesses in Teton Valley.

The community’s rich heritage is honored and the magnificence of the area remains. For hundreds of years, Native American tribes visited Teton Valley for sustenance. Along came explorers, trappers, traders, and settlers who all changed the landscape. The largest mountain man Rendezvous in the United States was held here in 1832. A variety of cultures mixed, mingled, and fought. The beauty of Yellowstone was discovered, resulting in the world’s first national park-one of the greatest of the world’s legacies. Intercontinental railways were built when the west was “opened”. Local tracks were converted for use through the rails to trails program.
