Downtown Event Center

In the heart of Idaho Fall’s old town, there is a 5000 square foot venue that is in walking distance to the Japanese Friendship Garden, Idaho Falls Greenbelt Trail and all of downtown’s unique shopping and cuisine. The DEC (Downtown Event Center) can accommodate up to 350 people making it one of the most unique large group venues in East Idaho. 

With two public ADA restrooms, presentation equipment including two projectors and screens, high-quality Worx Audio speaker system, a two-sided fireplace, a bridal suite and a retractable front facade can open fully onto Park Avenue, the space makes for the perfect opening or closing night for a large group embarking on a wild itinerary around the Yellowstone to Teton Territory. 

The Idaho Falls Farmers Market brings their Winter Market with 45 artisans, farmers and local chefs to the DEC. Comedy acts, magicians, hypnotists, contemporary and classical music acts are frequently booked at The DEC. The open format and in house bar (that also comes with a mocktail menu) make this venue a favorite for event planners seeking not just functional but a stylish option. The DEC has a strong list of local service providers to handle catering, cakes, tables, balloons and photography making it easy for an out of area tour operator to find the right person on the first phone call.
