307-739-3399Although an entrance fee is required to enter Grand Teton National Park, vehicle reservations are not needed.Keep in mind summer is busy, so be prepared for crowds at popular areas and lines at the entrance gates, in construction areas, and at roadside wildlife sightings.
Grand Teton does not offer entrance reservations or timed entry, so you are welcome to enter the park at anytime. Grand Teton National Park covers nearly 310,000 acres of mountains, lakes, and plains including the major peaks of the Teton Range and the northern half of the valley of Jackson Hole. Grand Teton is open all year, though some areas of the park are inaccessible by car from approximately November through May due to seasonal winter closures.
Car camping or sleeping overnight in vehicles is NOT allowed in park pullouts, parking areas, picnic grounds, or any place other than a designated campground. Overnight parking at trailheads is only permitted with a backcountry permit.
